VENUE DETAILS

Developed in 1926, Aztec Theatre is located along the San Antonio River Walk in Texas, a short walk away from The Alamo. In addition to being listed in the National Register of Historic Places, the theatre is also quoted in Patricia Schultz's travel book "1,000 Places to See Before You Die."

You may recognize Aztec Theatre if you're a fan of the hit TV series, The Simpsons, as the show replicates the theatre in several episodes.

The interior decor is inspired by the Aztec, Toltec, and Mayan cultures with sculptures, carvings, paintings and a gorgeous two-ton chandelier in the lobby that was installed the same day as the stock market crash in 1929.
