The Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center, commonly known as H·MAC, is a highly regarded destination for live music in Central Pennsylvania. This premier venue boasts two stages located on two different floors, with a third on the way. The combined capacity of the venue will soon reach 2,100 people, with nearly 9000 square feet of space for concerts and other events.
The main venue, in the Capitol Ballroom, currently has a capacity of 1,200 people. The stage is outfitted with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment provided by Clair audio, ensuring the highest quality sound for concertgoers. To cater to all patrons, the venue has three full-service bars, as well as an outdoor patio where guests can enjoy a breath of fresh air.
Excitingly, the Capitol Ballroom will soon undergo new construction to expand its capacity to 1,600 people, providing even more chances to see favorite artists perform in an immersive setting.
Alongside the Capitol Ballroom, H·MAC's Stage on Herr offers a smaller, more intimate setting. With a total capacity of 300 people, guests can experience performances in an up-close, unique atmosphere. On top of another full-service bar, guests will also find the space outfitted with top of the line audio and visual equipment just like the Capitol Ballroom.
Looking ahead, the venue has plans to add a new 650-person capacity stage, The Deep End, to offer even more opportunities for live music performances.
With its rich history, prime location, and reputation for hosting top-notch musicians, H·MAC is a favorite live music venue in Pennsylvania. It caters to music lovers of all ages and interests and provides a diverse range of concert experiences for its patrons.
